Niger extradites Gaddafi's son Saadi to Libya
Three years after the uprising which killed Colonel Muammar Gaddafi, one of his sons, Saadi, has been extradited from Niger to Libya. Authorities confirmed his transfer Thursday morning saying he is being held in a Tripoli prison.
He had fled to neighbouring Niger following his father's death.
The country had previously refused to hand him over saying that he was "certain to face the death penalty".
