People power: The passengers help to rescue the unnamed girl

This is the horrifying moment a schoolgirl became trapped underneath a tram - before fellow passengers LIFT the carriage off her.

The amazing footage shows commuters rallying together to try to push the tram off the girl who can be heard screaming in pain.

The incident occurred at the Jervis Street shopping centre stop in Dublin city centre this morning and was filmed by passer-by Lukasz Pigula.
