- Transit police are seeking the man who reportedly stole the phone of a woman who was struck and killed at the MBTA's Downtown Crossing Red Line stop Thursday night.

Just after 9:45 p.m. Thursday, a Red Line train hit and killed a woman who was reportedly trespassing on the southbound side of the station. Officials had not released her name as of Friday. Transit police detectives and representatives from the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office are investigating the circumstances.
