English:
Karkeit is an instrument used to cheer people at night, under the moonlight. This instrument is used when the farmer finishes his work, and also as a means to attract women. To make sound, the karkeit is held by the lips and in one of its extremities a thread is tied to be played with the hands. The tongue is used to tune the keys and it is accompanied by respiration. This instrument is made of iron and bamboo. This was filmed during the Cultural Festival 2010 at the President's Palace
