Building Explodes in NYC
The FDNY is responding to an explosion and collapse of a building in Manhattan on Wednesday. Small business owner and eyewitness Max Crespo tells The Daily Beast the explosion took place on the northwest side of Park Avenue and 116t Street, at a building which is under construction. Whether there have been any casualties is unkown, and Metro-North trains in the area have reportedly been stopped due to debris on the tracks. Smoke from the building can be seen from Midtown Manhattan.
