US Hillary Clinton kicks off 6-nation trip to Asia-Pacific region
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will try to reassert American interests in the Asia-Pacific region as she kicks off a 6-nation trip to the region.
Clinton left Washington on Thursday. Her 11-day tour begins in the remote Cook Islands. On the main island of Rarotonga, she will attend an annual gathering of officials from Australia, New Zealand and the tiny nations scattered across the Pacific Ocean.
