NGC 6543 Cat's Eye Planetary Nebula, creation of (

The animation starts about 15,000 years before the birth of the Cat's Eye Nebula by the emission of the bull's-eye pattern of rings, or shells, around the Nebula. This process continues up until some 1000 years ago where suddenly some change occurred and the Cat's Eye itself was created.
