Cambodia block Laos's path to progess in AFC
The Lao U-22 football squad could only draw 3-3 with Cambodia at their last match in Group F of the AFC U-22 Championship qualifiers, played out at the National Stadium in Vientiane on Tuesday.
Cambodia spoiled Laos' dream of getting through the qualifiers and pipped them to third place in Group F by picking up one point from the draw. Laos played an attacking game and tried hard to score but found themselves blocked by the resilient Cambodian defenders.
