On Thursday morning, Pfc. Bradley Manning's military attorney appeared on NBC's Today with a shocking announcement. He said that Manning, after being convicted of sharing government secrets with the press and sentenced to 35 years in prison, will live his life as a woman and prefers to be called "Chelsea Manning" from now on. Manning's attorney said that his client hopes that Ft. Leavenworth will pay for the sexual reassignment therapy.
